Theme: Sultry, torch songs for St. Valentine's Day.

A sentimental song of unrequited love from the phrase to carry a torch for (to be in love).

For example, "Stormy Weather" or "Help Me Make It Through the Night".

Erin Klein and Darrell Reich have been SD Folk Song Members for 18 years, singing and playing folk, bluegrass and country songs on guitar and banjo. From Fallbrook to San Diego they can be seen around town playing at various musical events.

We use the book "Rise Up Singing" a lot which can be found at the music store down stairs.

I was impressed at the number of new people. Meetup has been great for us. I love Darrell and Erin, the leaders. with Darrells fine humor and banjo and Erin's golden voice. When we have many new people sitting near each other, I thunk we should vary from going around the circle to alternating turns from new to old members to keep pace and model. I had a good time!
